The Dutch midfielder is a notorious player who is often known to get into harsh tackles. Bane from the Batman series was a brutal and strong villain. His strength once almost broke the back of Batman. Well, De Jong has done something similar. He broke the leg of Stuart Holden in 2010 after a horrible tackle. Later that year, he injured Ben Arfa’s left tibia and fibula. There are many incidents resembling to be the Bane of football.
